Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Wind in the Willows and The Secret Garden, stacked three deep in glazed ceramic and trimmed with wildflowers, toadstools and a rabbit or two. The book on top sits open and waiting for a succulent, as though someone wandered off mid chapter to do some gardening. Put it on a bookshelf, a desk or a bedside table and it quietly tells people what sort of person lives here.
