Overlapping petals in mottled grey, each one folding over the next, with rust-coloured edges where the glaze runs thin over the ridges. At 14cm deep it’s a proper bowl rather than a shallow dish, and the form is busy enough that it needs nothing in it at all. The unglazed clay foot keeps the whole thing grounded.
